Because a Little Bug went Ka-Choo!

This is definitely one of my new favorites of the 60 plus books authored by Theodor Seuss Geisel. (There is absolutely no way I could single out a favorite!) We have a large collection of Dr. Seuss books but I stumbled across this lesser known title at the library. He elected to publish it using the pseudonym Rosetta Stone in 1975. Over the past week, I have read it at least a dozen times. Not only does it contain an adorable storyline and impeccable rhyme and rhythm Dr. Seuss books are known for, it lead to conversations about
• Cause and effect
• Sequencing
• Gravity
• Road/water safety
• Imagination
These discussions were all initiated by my 2 and 3 year olds. Talk about one proud mama! I added a little dialogue about the community helpers and we effortlessly covered many topics with one simple book! I highly recommend this book to any Dr. Seuss lover.
